Laser Cats!

There was a new Laser Cats on SNL Saturday. It was just as good as the first one. Things like that make me wish I had thought of them first. They also make me wish I had Andy Samberg's brain. That thing is a gold factory. Solid gold.

Tonight is the first episode of the season of The Girls Next Door and Kathryn and I are bracing ourselves for that. While I wait I'm doing my online french homework. The program is called Quia. Learning another language is always strange. I remember one french book I had some time ago specified that you must capitalize all forms of the word 'Satan'- including 'Evil Prince'.
Wouldn't want to mess that one up. What if I went to France and wrote across a shirt something along the lines of 'I worship the evil prince' and forgot to capitalize 'evil prince'? How embarrassing would that be? I'd look like such an amateur.

This is a really good idea for drying pasta that I found. Of course I'd only do that if I made pasta enough and had a house of my own. Otherwise I'm a fan of the broom stick method that my father perfected.
On Saturday morning my mother and I hit both St. Tammany farmer's market about as hard as you can hit a farmer's market. I walked away with some good stuff, as well as some really bad muffaletta filling. It's really hard when my mom asks me IN FRONT of the person who made the food if it's good. Of course I'm going to lie in front of the little old lady who didn't let her olives and cauliflower pickle long enough. It tastes like an oily muffaletta stir-fry. We got some Aioli, which I need to learn to make, as well as a tamale. Really good. The side of the pot said they were selling both bean and 'chesse' tamales. I would have gotten the 'chesse' tamale, but I don't know what 'chesse' is. It may not be vegan.
Saturday night was Chris and my date. We had alot of fun, in my opinion. Dinner was great (I got a salad and carrots, chris got tenderloin tips) and then we walked for a while. A fast talking woman made off with $20, because she took chris by surprise. It was horrible. He's very generous with money. She told him she knew where he 'got them shoes.' Classic.
