People Watching.

Sometimes I tell people stories at the end of the day. Stories of something I over heard said, or saw. Alot of the time the things I see and hear are quite outrageous. I don't know why I see so many wackos a day, but I do. Alot of people probably think I exaggerate, but I swear, I could write a book at the end of each day. My life reads like page of Overheard in New York.
Today I observed an Asian exchange student in the Restroom of my french building brushing her teeth. Welcome to America, we tend to do that AT HOME. I guess it wouldn't have been a huge problem if she hadn't brushed for 6 minutes straight. I wasted time in the stall just to see how long the chk-chk sound continued. I gave up after 6 minutes, knowing I'd be late for class, but she was still at it when I left.
I'm growing sure that most people brush their teeth more often than I do. Hope I don't have the halitosis. Christopher brushes his teeth both at night and in the morning. I only brush my teeth in the morning. As a child I would rub fabric across my teeth to get the 'sweaters' off of them. You know, when teeth wear sweaters? Anyway, I never got any cavities, so I was convinced I had developed a really effective means of dental care. I now know that isn't true, but part of me still thinks I've outwitted the ADA.
In the hall on the way to history I saw a girl in the hall on her cell phone her conversation went like this:
Girl:"Well, I'm pretty sure she's poor"
Imagined other end of the conversation: "How do you know?"
Girl: "Because she has a part time job!"
Other End:" Are you KIDDING? Who DOES THAT?"
Girl: "I know, and she wears fake glasses!"
Other End: "Well that secures it, she's not coming to the wine and cheese party. We can't do that to the other guests"
Girl:" It just wouldn't be fair."
* Remember, only one side of this conversation was real, I made up the rest in my head*
